Holiday Kick-Off

For Veterans

My Husband did not fight in the the Korean War, but he was there, as many service men and women are today.  They still are up on the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) of North and South Korea protecting and serving our country to make civilians safe.

Well this weekend, we are a part of a very special reunion of some of the 2IDA members who fought and have served up on that DMZ.  This reunion is to bring these men back together for a weekend of camaraderie and reminiscing. 

I do not know how to tell them thank you for their service, but I thought by making cards for their auction would help.

So I would like to share with some of the cards that I made for the auction.

A Hawaiian Luau for the New 2016-2017 Catalog

Hi Everyone, 

I had my annual Kick-Off  party for the New 2016-2017 Idea Book and Catalog, and we went Hawaiian style and had a Luau.  We all had so much fun. I made Kuala Pork, Hawaiian Sweet Potatoes, with Hawaiian Kings rolls.  We also had Pina Coladas and a homemade Hawaiian Punch.

We played the Hawaiian Island Game where you close your eyes, no peaking, and you draw an island, then the ocean around the island, a hula dancer on your island, a dolphin in the water, birds in the sky, a palm tree on your island, fish in the water, coconuts on your palm tree and then the sun in the sky.  You earn points for having the best drawing and where things are supposed to be, on land or water, and the one with the highest points earns a prize. 

We also did the Quick Cash game, every time that I mentioned Stampin Up during my presentation, they earn Sassy Stamper Dollars. Those dollars are then used at the end of my party to be auctioned off for a couple of retired stamp sets.  Highest bidder wins the stamp sets.  SO MUCH FUN!

It's that time again; we're getting ready to retire stamps and accessories form both the annual and occasion's catalogs. As sad as it is to see these products go, there's still time for you to get them before they're gone. Plus, retiring products have deep discounts of up to 50%! Keeping Busy
