Regarding Dahlias

Hi Everyone,

I was so busy today setting up classes and clubs, whew, that is a real job...  But I did want to share this card that I made.
Regarding Dahlias - 130327, Clear Mount

  • Create a base for a 4-1/4" x 11"card using Whisper White, score at 5-1/5"
  • Cut a Midnight Muse layer measuring 4-1/4" x 5-1/2"
  • Cut a Midnight Muse layer measuring 4" x 3/-3/4"
  • Cut a Whisper White layer measuring 3/-3/4" x 3/-1/2"
  • Cut a Whisper White measuring 1-3/4" x 1-3/4"
  • Cut a 5-1/4" Midnight Muse Satin Stitched 3/8" Ribbon
  • Use Craft Basic Black to stamp the flower from the Regarding Dahlias stamp set onto 3/-3/4" x 3-1/2" Whisper White
  • Use Midnight Muse and blender pen, color in your dahlia, as desired
  • Use Midnight Muse to stamp the "HI" image on the 1-3/4" x 1-3/4"
  • Use Artisan Label Punch to punch out the "HI" image
  • Use Large Scallop Edgelit on Midnight Muse and use on 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" at the very bottom, center scallops evenly on each side
  • Use Large Scallop Edgelit on Whisper White 4-1/4" x 11" approximately 1/2" from bottom, center scallops evenly on each side
  • Use Delicate Designs Embossing on Whisper White, at the bottom where you used the edgelit
  • Mount the stamped Whisper White layer measuring 3/-3/4" x 3/-1/2" to the Midnight Muse layer measuring 4" x 3/-3/4"
  • Now mount your layered stamped image to your base Whisper White 4-1/4" x 11". Once assembled, adhere your Ribbon across the bottom of layered Midnight Muse & Whisper White
  • Adhere Midnight Muse with edgelit cut out to the inside back of the card
  • Use Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the punched out "HI" and adhere to the front of your card
  • Stamp your favorite sentiment inside, write out the card and drop it in the mail!

  • Sit back in your jammies, with a nice cup a tea, you can purchase all these items and more on my 24/7 website.  No going out to the stores, or wasting gas, and it ships right to your door. Easy Peasy.

Hope you enjoyed this tutorial and have fun putting your card together.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at donnamarcil@gmail.com or leave me a comment below.
