Ronald McDonald House Stamp Camp

Hello all my fellow stampers,

First, I want to Thank People's Bank in Elkhorn, WI for letting us use their community room for the 1st Annual Ronald McDonald House Stamp Camp. It was a total success and a great time was had by all. Everyone that came received their very own "Moving Forward" stamp set, which $3 of each set is donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Here are some pictures of the cards that we did...

This box holds the cards that were made that day!

Every person that attended the stamp camp also made this "Thank You" card and it will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House for the Guests to use.

We also held a food drive and my employer Intermatic helped out too and we were able to collect 262 pounds of food, $277, and 30 Forever USPS stamps.
All this will be delivered to the Ronald McDonald House and I will post pictures of that also.

THANK YOU EVERYONE that participated and for your kindness and generous support of such a great foundation.

Thank you for stopping by...Please email me if you have any questions or feel free to leave a comment on my blog.

New Clear Photopolymer Stamps

Hi Everyone,

We've searched long and hard for just the right material to be able to introduce completely clear stamping. And we've found it. We're excited to announce that we now have wood-mount, clear-mount AND photopolymer stamps! The new photopolymer will be an addition to our stamp line and will appeal to all types of stampers. Our top-quality photopolymer has just enough give to create a perfectly stamped image every time and with the introduction of our firm-foam pads, let's just say they're meant for each other! Photopolymer stamps will also be unique, fun designs that will inspire you and provide more versatile options you may not see in our traditional wood- and clear-mount stamp options.

What makes them so great?
  • They're entirely transparent for perfect placement every time!
  • They are durable. The photopolymer material is designed to last.
  • Can you say sticky? (Don't worry; in a good way.) These stamps stick amazingly well to our clear blocks.
  • They're age tested. They won't yellow or cloud up over time.
  • We could go on, but we'll let you try them for yourself.
They are clearly a great choice.

We know you are going to love stamping with photopolymer. And what a great value! We can fit more images in a set so you'll get more stamps for a lower price than you do with wood-mount or clear-mount!  That means you can buy a set even if you only love a couple of the images. So, what should you do about it? Try them.... and click Shop Now.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at

NEW Wood-Mount Stamp Cases

Hello Everyone,

All I can say OMG - Introducing our new wood-mount stamp set packaging! These new cases are similar to our clear-mount boxes and fit perfectly on the shelf right next to them. They also have the images and stamp set name on the spine to make your search for the right set even easier.  How COOL is that!

Starting May 31 all wood-mount sets will come in this new packaging. And empty cases will be available with the launch of the new catalog. That means you can transfer all your old sets to these new boxes!

There will even be a template for you to create your own label for your old stamp sets (available May 31). A pack of four half-size cases (3-3/4" x 5-1/2") will sell for $4.95 and a pack of four full-size cases (7-1/2" x 5-1/2") will be $6.95.

Get ready for all the exciting new products in the catalog--especially the new wood-mount boxes! The new catalog comes out May 31st.  I cannot wait.....

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at, or just leave a comment if you like this new idea.  I would love to hear what you have to say.

Thanks for stopping by and looking,

Spring has Sprung!

Hello everyone...I hope you are all having a great weekend!!!!  The weather finally decided to cooperate and it feels like Spring has Sprung.

We had a great time at my workshop and I wanted to share some of the cards we made.  The first one I totally CASED from my sideline Roxanne, she has awesome talent for flair...
Swallowtail - 129216 Clear
The great thing about this card is not one turned out the same.  They were all different and beautiful, just like my customers.  We used Versa Mark and the colored embossing powders along with the triple stamping technique.

Using various colors I cut the card stock to size of 4" x 4", 3" x 3", 2" x 2" and then cut Whisper White cardstock to 3-3/4" x 3-3/4", 2-3/4" x 2-3/4", 1-3/4" x 13/4".   I then removed the colored cardstock and layered the whisper white cardstock pieces on top of each other using a repositionable adhesive if you like.  You do this for your stamping.

Prepare the embossing colors you wish to use and have your heat tool ready.  Use your embossing buddy and rub on your whisper white cardstock. This helps to prevent the embossing powder from sticking where you do not want it to stick...

Now take your Versa Mark pad and ink up your swallowtail butterfly.  Press onto the layered white card stock, the entire swallowtail will not fit completely in this space, and that is OK.  Moving quickly sprinkle (you do not want the versa mark to dry) the colors where you want on the wings of the butterfly. I also used a little sprinkle of Dazzling Diamonds to give some added sparkle, tap off excessive powder into powder tray or spare piece of paper and then discard.

Once you have everything where you want it, you heat your embossing powder.  Remember the embossing heat tool can get very hot and can burn your paper.  Move in a slow and circular motion not to burn the paper or embossing powder.  You know when it is complete when your powder turns to a shiny sheen.

Here are the other cards we did:
Secret Garden Stamp set and Framlits - Bundle 131099 Clear

Fresh Tulips using the Wing on the
Bird Builder Punch - 117191
Hope you enjoy the cards that I have for you to CASE (Copy And Share Everything).  Remember to take advantage of the FREE Shipping that ends tomorrow.  Come visit my website store to get in on this special deal and place your order now!

Thanks so much for looking and hope you have a great week.

Color Refresh

WOW! I was just on the Stampin' Up! website (the demo section) and saw that that we are going to have another Color Refresh.

I am so stinking excited that so many of my favorite In Colors are making their way back into our core line. Bermuda Bay! Wisteria Wonder! Pool Party! Island Indigo! Woo-hoo!

The one I am really sad about is...Not Quite Navy. Love that one, but I'll get over it.

Here are more details:
Color is fundamental to who we are and what we offer. It's important for us to stay up-to-date with color trends so we are thrilled to share our updated line of colors, and hope you will be as excited as we are by the new possibilities!

Why now? In 2010 we did a big color renovation and shared our plans for smaller color refreshes every three to five years to keep our colors on trend. Well, it has been three years and we are excited to announce that the upcoming 2013-2014 annual catalog will include 10 new colors (most of which are returning In Colors from previous years)! We are welcoming back some of your favorites, moving some colors around, and introducing one brand-new color Smoky Slate, so take a look!

What does this mean for you? Beginning April 4, 2013, all retiring/discontinued color products (i.e. ink, paper, ribbon, accessories, etc.) will be available only while supplies last. This means that some products will not be available through the upcoming retired list period. We did anticipate increased demand and based our forecasts for these retiring colors on historical sales information from previous color transitions. However, even with the most careful planning, the response to a transition of this nature can surprise everyone.

And also announced today, FREE SHIPPING is going on April 6-8, 2013. That's right FREE Shipping! This would be a great opportunity to get ALL your favorite colors before they are gone.

Thanks for stopping by, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or visit my website to start that order for FREE Shipping...
