Ornament Keepsake Bundle

I just could not help trying out this new positional die cutting design to create this Beautiful card.  Here I am using my favorite bundle set, “Ornament Keepsakes Bundle – 129950 Clear Mount $42.95”. The bundle includes the Ornament Keepsake stamp set and the Holiday Framelit dies.  That is a 15% savings from purchasing them separately.   The card is actually a little bit smaller than a standard card, 5-1/2” x 6-3/4”, we still need it to fit in a standard envelope.  We are also using “Greetings of the Season” – 128033 Clear Mount $11.95. The accent is Champagne Glimmer Paper – 127885, $4.95, Northern Flurry Embossing Folder – 120902, $7.95, Crumb Cake 3/8” Taffeta Ribbon – 122966, $6.95, Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint - 116806, $5.95, Pearl Basic Jewels – 119247, $4.95, Early Espresso Classic Ink Pad – 126974, $5.95 and Very Vanilla Card Stock – 101650, $8.50.  Oh Yeah the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine – 113439, $99.95

Ornament Keepsake Bundle
The first thing I did is cut my paper to 5-1/2” x 6-3/4” and score it at 3-3/8”.  I then place the front of my card in the embossing folder and ran it through the Big Shot using your cutter plate and Tab 2 with your embossing folder.  Place your card flat on the cutter plate using Tab 1 & 2, take your desired Ornament Framelits die and place it where you want your cut out design to be and center the framelit on the score line.  Take the top cutter plate and place it over the framelit up to the center of your card/score line, which should also be the center of the framelit.  Run it through the Big Shot and it should only cut the front half of your card.  Cut off the framelit part, it will not be used.

Cut out your Champagne Shimmer paper using your desired framelit shape you have chosen and put aside.  Next, take the desired Ornament Keepsake stamp and get it inked up in Early Espresso, shake up your shimmer paint and using a dauber, place the dauber in the cap and lightly dab over the inked stamp and then pressing it onto Very Vanilla card stock and let dry.  You will then cut out your ornament using your scissors.  You want the ornament to be smaller than the framelit die so the glimmer paper shows in the background.  Glue your stamped image to your shimmer paper and then place snail on only one half of the back of your glimmer paper, the half that will stick inside the cut-out of your card.  Close the card and stick the glimmer paper and stamped image inside the cut-out and Voila it is beautiful…  Stamp your sentiment the same way you stamped your ornament and add your other favorite framelits and stamped images to the front.  Dress up your images with the pearl basic jewels and you have a beautiful card for the extra special BFF…
